Mom's 60th Birthday Cake

Specially made this cake for my Mom's 60th Birthday celebration. Its a tall butter-cake with buttercream frosting. The fresh roses really made the cake stand out. Also added gold luster dust on top of the cake to match the theme. As for the gold acrylic mirror cake topper, I ordered it from AkudanKraf . The cupcakes were chocolate cupcakes with buttercream as well.

Elmo cupcakes

Chocolate cupcake with butter cream frosting. Elmo eyes and nose made of fondant and the rest using butter cream. In my next attempt, i will use oreo cookies for the mouth which i think would add a little crunch..

Elmo Theme Birthday Cake

I baked an Elmo theme cake for my daughter Yaadana's 2nd Birthday last week. Its a butter cake with butter cream frosting and some fondant used for the Elmo eyes, nose and also for the sesame street signage.
The cake was a surprise for Yaadana...and she loved it.. :)
